Obituary for Kristine Marie Devanny
Kristine Marie Devanny, 59 of Pittsfield, MA died on Saturday April 29, 2023 at Berkshire Medical Center.
She was born in Pittsfield, MA on June 17, 1963, a daughter of the late James Joseph Devanny III and Frances Ann (Albano) Devanny. She graduated from Taconic High School and trained as a certified nursing assistant.
Kristine worked as a CNA at several area nursing homes and also worked for HospiceCare in the Berkshires.
She was a communicant of St. Joseph's Church. Kristine enjoyed gardening, trips to the casino and played the Lottery every day. She loved animals and fed the birds, squirrels and rabbits in the neighborhood and she was devoted to her cats, "Damien" and "Emily". Kristine also enjoyed watching the Boston Red Sox baseball team and listening to the music of the band, Pink Floyd.
Survivors include her twin sisters- Kelly A. Devanny and Karen M. (John) Devanny-Adams, both of Cheshire, CT and her nephew- Christopher Adams of Cheshire, CT. Kristine's family would like to thank the infusion nurses and phlebotomy technicians at the Phelps Cancer Center for all of their support.
FUNERAL NOTICE: A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Kristine Devanny will be celebrated Thursday May 4, 2023 at 9:00 AM at St. Joseph's Church by Monsignor Michael Shershanovich, Pastor. Burial will be at a later date in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Calling hours at FLYNN & DAGNOLI-BENCIVENGA FUNERAL HOME, 5 Elm St. Pittsfield, MA will be Wednesday from 5-7 PM.
