Obituary for Eugene Anthony "Red" Arrighini

Eugene Anthony "Red" Arrighini, 96 of North Adams, MA died on Thursday November 10, 2022 at Danforth Adult Care Center in Hoosick Falls, NY.
He was born in North Adams, MA on July 18, 1926, a son of Eugenio and Giulia (Barbieri) Arrighini. He graduated from the Drury High School.
Red was a veteran of World War II and served in the US Navy. Following his military service, he worked at the Arnold Print Works in Adams where he was the plant manager until its closing in 1983. Red then joined Col-East Engineering where he worked until his retirement.
He was a communicant of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church. Red was a member of Sons of Italy Lodge #704; the VFW Post #996 and American Legion Post #125. He enjoyed bowling and playing golf and was a former member of Forest Park Country Club.
His wife was Beatrice Ellen (Barschdorf) Arrighini who died on May 23, 2003. They were married on November 25, 1950 in St. Thomas Aquinas Church. Survivors include nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. He was predeceased by four sisters and one brother including Angelina Carleton, Ada Canale, Eva Ferris, Lena Arrighini and Gusti Arrighini.

FUNERAL NOTICE: A graveside service for Red Arrighini will be held on Thursday November 17, 2022 at 12:00 Noon in Southview cemetery.
