Linda Valente,72, of Pittsfield MA, died on June 14,2022 after a short illness. Born in Pittsfield on April 18, 1950, she was the beloved daughter of the late Natale F. Valente and Antoinette Matarazzo Valente. She was also predeceased by her nephew Eric. Linda is survived by her sisters, Janet Valente, Debra Valente-Harris of Winthrop, MA and Lisa LeVardi of Pittsfield, MA ,her niece, Linda Fortini; her nephews Keith Fortini, Brian and William Harris and her great nephews Vincenzo and Natale Fortini. Linda was a loving and generous aunt to her niece and all of her nephews.

Other than short periods of time living in Chicago, Illinois and Worcester MA, Linda lived most of her life in Pittsfield. She was an avid Red Sox fan and enjoyed reading about and discussing politics. Linda worked as a data clerk at the First Agricultural Bank and for New England Telephone Company. Linda also worked as a dedicated Paraprofessional in the Pittsfield Public Schools with students with special needs. She was the primary caretaker for her mother during a long illness and continued to selflessly care for her mother until her passing.

Linda’s immediate family will hold a private burial at her request.
